About us

A laundry built out of frustration with laundry

Lavender began in 2019, out of an observation rather than a business plan. After three decades in garment exports and a decade in hospitality, the Goyal Group of Companies kept running into the same problem from both sides of it. Fabric was being handled badly, and the businesses that depended on it had nowhere better to go.

Ashutosh Goyal, who had studied and travelled across the United States and Europe, had seen what a properly run laundry looks like. Lavender was the attempt to build one in Jaipur.

What that means in practice is unglamorous and specific. Wash cycles held at 60 degrees. RO treated water and ETP recovery. Detergents chosen by fabric. An in house engineering team keeping the machines on a daily maintenance schedule. Six steps followed the same way whether the load is one family's clothing or a hotel's bed linen.

Today Lavender serves homes across Jaipur alongside hotel groups including Ananta Hotels & Resorts, Radisson and Lemon Tree, and is expanding across Rajasthan.

Clean is the minimum. The rest is care.

The people behind Lavender

A group of dynamic employees from diverse backgrounds make up the management team at Lavender — industry experts with the leadership skills to deliver high-quality laundry and dry-cleaning. An in-house engineering team runs a daily preventative maintenance programme and monitors our tailored washing formulas for efficiency and hygiene. We have also tied up with the Ananta Institute of Hotel Management and Allied Studies to curate a laundry diploma programme focused on employee training and proactive customer service.
